Sometimes earthy, sometimes bluesy — always progressive.
Formed in 2019 by Keenan Harmon for his original music that explores jazz’s far reach in sound and genre. The group’s home base is Charlotte, NC performing throughout the region in diverse locations from breweries and clubs to Huntersville’s Jazz Appreciation Festival (April 2023 and April 2025) to full length concerts at Blumenthal Arts Stagedoor Theater.
Drawing from the group members’ collectively diverse music backgrounds — from R&B to Rock to Bluegrass to symphonic music the group comes together as the Nexus Jazz Group.
